After a long day of doctor visits, work, and watching an old friend move on to a new chapter in his life, I have the joyful privilege of sitting in the Logon Cafe’ in Beaumont, Texas, listening to my daughter sing with the Night & Day Orchestra. What pride and joy has filled this mom’s heart tonight.
Thank you Lord for the blessings of life. Especially for my sweet Mary!

Stop chasing after what you already have! Enjoy today for the blessings that it gives! I’m always amazed at how little it takes to make a dog happy…we could learn alot from them!
Eight years ago today, my mom left this earth and all of her pain and disease and went to live in Heaven where she has a new pain-free, disease-free body. The destination, while wonderful to finally be in the presence of Jesus, is often the end of a long, painful journey on this earth. It will be wonderful to all be reunited some day.
